SERRMAC International of Polcenigo (Pordenone) is one of the main European manufacturers of column drills, cutters and automatic tapping machines. Starting from their product range, they also study special custom-made machines. At the moment, it is opening up to the Chinese market through a commercial agreement with a local company.


To obtain a high-performance 5-axis Work station to be used 24 hours a day, we have reduced mechanical parts to a minimum and therefore machine downtime for maintenance.

SERRMAC’s partner for the Chinese market is a commercial company with 4 offices in China, specializing in the sale of high-tech mechanical machines. they require a high-performance 5-axis machining center, so much so that it has become the top in it’s range. Their final goal it to work on complex surfaces with movements on 5 axes, particularly for companies that produce molds and work in continuous and uninterrupted shifts.


Applyca’s solution


Starting from the SERRMAC product range, we have designed and produced the evolution of their milling machines, with a table that rotates and tilts on 5 axes and processes complex surfaces. The new high-performance work station does not require downtime, a significant competitive advantage obtained by inserting torque motors.

By using this method, we eliminate errors due to mechanical transmission, increasing its performance and therefore the need for maintenance at the same time.
